What doeth daughter of feminist intellectuals make? Painting of tumors, nuns with guns and visual poetry depicting the dehumanization of death and our relationship to it, of course. Katie Jackson’s most recent series of work centers around how we are living and how we are dying. Katie’s images are nightmarish and ethereal at the same time – dreamscapes that most of us can relate to, and do dream ourselves.
