Second Cities: Guadalajara to Houston

This was a survey exhibit of artists living and working in Guadalajara, Mexico. The artists ranged from established, internationally recognized artists to the hottest up and comers. This exhibit attempted to show the vibrancy of other cities outside the main cultural hub of Mexico City. This exhibit was made possible by Gubierno de Jalisco, Secretaria de Cultura, and was co-sponsored by DiverseWorks and the Houston International Festival in collaboration with the Cultural Alliance of Jalisco.
