Michael Battey: Science Fair

This was part of the 1993/1994 Fall NU-ART Performance Series. Battey was a performer, teacher, and environmental activist working in Paris, Berlin, Japan, and Brazil. In this performance, the winners and losers of Battey’s version of the grad school science fair are themselves the objects of study. Battey explores pathos, logos, ethos, mythos, the Messianic, the disgusting, and the paranoid through the world view of three whiz kids and their less successful counterparts, the Certificate of Participation recipient.
