Rezone

Curated by Don Caroll and Mark Frohman, this exhibit was about the conceptual dimensions of social space––real or virtual. Philosopher Henri Lefebvre once said social space contains a “great diversity of objects, both natural and social, including the networks and pathways which facilitate the exchange of material things and information. Such objects are thus not only things but also relations…social space is what permits fresh actions to occur while suggesting others and prohibiting yet others.” This exhibit was not your ordinary exhibit, arranged as a walking tour full of …“Situations, dilemmas, and quandaries! Choices, decisions, and musings! Ambiguous communities! Dave’s bedroom! Rotating exhibits! Free coffee!”
