Russell Frehling and Ward Shelley: Range

This was a collaborative project integrating hundreds of sculptural elements and scores of discrete sound sources to create a complex environmental installation. This exhibition is part of Assembled & Performed: A Triangular Rotation, supported by the Multi-Site Collaborations Program administered by the National Association of Artists’ Organization (NAAO) through a grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts. This was part of the Artists’ Projects Regional Initiative grants program which is jointly funded by the Presenting and Commissioning Program of the National Endowment for the Arts, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. Additional Support for this presentation of Range was provided by Continental Airlines. This exhibition was shown at the same time as Some Zines: American Alternative & Underground Magazines, Newsletters & APAs.
