QUEER ARTIST COLLECTIVE (QUAC)

QuAC (The Queer Artist Collective delves deeper into the collective queer psyche. Cutting through layers of therapy, angst and ecstasy QuAC performers expose themselves and society in an original and insightful way. This will be the fifth installment in the DiverseWorks residency for out queer installment in the DiverseWorks residency for out queer Houston Artists which began as an extension of Mary Ellen Strom and the New York Gay and Lesbian Community Center’s Bessie award winning show, School’s Out: The Naming Project. Through the creative processes of writing, video and movement, the members of QuAC are charged to “fearlessly be themselves,” acting as young, queer voice for the future of Houston’s gay and lesbian community.
