Praise God

This exhibit was a survey of Prince’s work from 1969-1991. Prince began making art after a spiritual awakening which turned him away from a life of drugs and petty crimes. He is a self-taught artist who developed a highly sophisticated art vocabulary using mirror, text, and everyday objects to reflect his search for spiritual awareness, philosophy about organized religions, diet, respect for the planet, and AIDS.
