Mississippi Freedom

Mississippi Freedom was a play in collaboration with actors, storytellers, and musicians from the Jackson, Mississippi area. The work explored race relations in the south from the Civil Rights Movement to the present. It was described by Leslie R. Myers of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger as “illuminating rather than condescending” and “dramatically positive, culturally inclusive, and philosophically expansive.”
