Mary Ellen Strom: School’s OUT: The Naming Project

This performance was part of the Beyond Desire series which celebrated lesbian and gay performance artists. Directed by video and performance artist Mary Ellen Strom, New York City LGBTQ+ young artists teamed up with local youth of Houston for a performance that “reflects their concerns and conflicts and speaks to the power of claiming one’s voice.”
