Generic Interference, Genetic Engineering

This performance was part of the Solo Women’s Voices Performance Series. Joyce Scott explores what would become of society, industry, and sex in a genetically engineered world with “wicked humor.” Scott is well known for her performance in the two-woman comedy “Thunder Thigh Revenue” and her small sculptures and jewelry (which have been at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in New York and other museums/galleries).
