Luck of the Draw, DiverseWorks’ famed fundraising event, returns on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the MATCH.
More than 200 works on paper, each one 7 x 9 inches, will be available for purchase at this year’s event. Participating artists from Houston and beyond include Mel Chin, Sheila Pepe, Nick Vaughan & Jake Margolin, Anahita (Ani) Bradberry, Emily Peacock, Jack Massing, and many, many more! All works will be available for the set price of $200.
HOW DOES LUCK OF THE DRAW WORK?
Guests purchase a Ticket to the party for $150 and Art Chances for $200 each. When the lucky winner’s Art Chance number is drawn, they choose an artwork to bring home. Every Art Chance purchased guarantees one artwork – and of course, guests may purchase more than one! Individual tickets will be available for sale soon.
Sponsors receive Tickets and Art Chances, a digital artwork preview, name and logo recognition on all event materials. Additionally, one of each sponsor’s Art Chances is added to a “priority” drawing just before the main event…so you have an excellent chance of going home with your first pick!
Luck of the Draw is DiverseWorks’ only fundraising event of the year, and sponsorships make it happen. All proceeds directly support our artists’ commissions, exhibitions, performances, and community programs, as well as the participating artists. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
