Joyce Pensato

In this exhibit, Joyce Pensato transformed iconic cartoon characters from her youth into “subversively smiling tempters that beckon to us from their entrapment in paint and charcoal.” Some of the characters include Mickey and Bart, Donald and Porky, who are transformed into the neurotic.
