Clit Notes

Dubbed “hell on heels” by The Village Voice, the nation’s foremost lesbian playwright and the popularizer of “Dyke Noir” theater performs her critically acclaimed one-woman show Clit Notes, which focuses on Holly Hughes’ early experiences “during the reign of Eisenhower.” The harrowing hilarious Hughes includes bits on waitressing at Red Lobster, childhood erotic experiences, and delicious swipes at lesbian theorists.

*Benefit performance for Milam House, a residence for people with AIDS. Presented as part of DiverseWorks’ Beyond Desire, bringing the best of gay and lesbian performance art from around the country to Houston.
