Mark O’Connor and Randall Watson

Mark O’Connor was a fiction writer and a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Houston Creative Writing Program. Randall Watson was a poet, held an MFA from the University of Montana, and was a Ph.D. candidate in the writing program at UH. He was an “anti-academic academic” whose landscapes included the lines outside of methadone clinics and pintail ducks diving for fish off the docks of Kodiak, Alaska.
