Cymene Howe, Associate Professor of Post-Human Anthropology, Rice University
Roger Moore, Ph.D., President, Moore Archeological Consulting, Inc.
Laura August, Ph.D., Writer and Curator
Lily Cox-Richard, Artist and Assistant Professor, Virginia Commonwealth University
Moderator: Xandra Eden, Executive Director & Chief Curator, DiverseWorks

For this public conversation, an anthropologist, archeologist, writer, curator, and sculptor dig into each other’s work, thinking together to create a new conceptual aggregate. The conversation begins with each participant sharing nuggets from their own areas of research, which include ice, sidewalks, aggregates, mud and blue. Audience members are invited to contribute to the mix by posing questions and adding ideas.
