About DECK WGF
Deck WGF is a graffiti writer/artist from Brooklyn who has been working on his craft since 1985. His artistic style is influenced by the graffiti artists from the late 70’s and 80’s era. As a graffiti writer, Deck believes you must be a vandal first, willing to accept the consequences stemming from illicit activity. Indeed, he has had several run-ins with the law because of his dedication to his craft. At first labeled a street bomber because of the ubiquity of his tag, in 2000, Deck decided to divert his energy to the artistic side of graffiti, developing fully conceptualized and executed productions. As Deck continued to hone his craft, others began to notice his work, which resulted in several public and private commissions. Deck took a break in 2002 when he moved to Texas, but has recently rejoined the graffiti community, and proving he hasn’t missed a step.
